The author, Dr Reza Shah-Kazemi, received his Doctorate in Comparative Religion from Canterbury University, England and is a research fellow at the Institute of Ismaili Studies, London. The illustrator, Fatima Zahra-Hassan, who has a Doctoral Degree from the Prince of Wales Foundation, London, is an award-winning miniature painter in the Indo-Persian tradition.
